Cardano Tip Bot

A tip bot that allows you to easily tip ADA and HOSKY tokens to other users on Twitter and Discord.

The Cardano Tip bot uses a centralized wallet and internal database to store assets and keep track of users’ balances. Users send a private message to the bot and receive a unique address to send their funds to. Users can then send a private message to the bot to deposit or withdraw assets and to check their balance.

Use the Cardano Tip Bot at your own risk. Scams are prevalent! Make sure the Twitter username or the Discord username of the bot matches the one in the Readme on Github

You can tip down to as little as one Lovelace, which is equal to 0.000001ADA. You can also use suffixes, k, M, and B, thousand, million and billion respectively, to tip quantities of coins e.g. tipping 8k means 8,000 tokens.

Fees

Deposits and withdrawals are charged at a fee 0.1ADA plus the require the standard transaction fee ~0.2ADA. The minimum withdrawal amount is 2ADA.

There is no fee for sending a tip.

To Tip on Twitter

Tipping is simple. Just reply to someone’s tweet with:

@Cardanotipbot !tip <amount> <asset> [message]

The message is optional and you can tip multiple assets types in one tip. See the readme file on Github for more information on sending a tip.

To Tip on Discord

The Cardano Tip Bot has to be in the server that you want to tip in. After that tipping is quite simple, simply send the following message to a public Discord channel:

!tip @DiscordUser <amount> <asset> [message]

The message is, again, optional and you can tip multiple asset types in one tip. See the readme file on Github for more information on how to tip.

The Discord version of the bot also features a rain function and allows you tip everyone who sent at least one message to a channel in a timeframe of your choosing. Simply set an amount in your message and it will be evenly shared between all of the people who sent a message. See the readme for more information on how to do this.
